Portus Buda Group Ltd. founded PBG Property Consulting Ltd. in 2011 to highlight our expertise and projects in property management and development, collected during 10 years, in one separate firm with an exclusively property profile.
Like its parent company, PBG Property Ltd. promotes value-based life and business management. Accordingly, the primary aim of our company is to serve the historical churches and religious orders in Hungary, and to manage and develop church properties in a professional and profit-oriented way.
We trust that our special engagement and strong dedication to do fair business will make a clear distinction from our rivals. "Budapest’s best office"
Budapest abounds in good quality offices. But, an office complex that is located in a nearly hundred-year-old knowledge centre of the Hungarian Province of the Piarist Order, is a real unicum on the office market, having all the features that modern architecture and building engineering can possibly offer.
The building is situated on the Danube embankment between Váci Street and Március 15 Square, with an elegant and busy ambience, having a panoramic view of Buda. CDO is distinguished from its market competitors not only by its unique location and its classic architectural quality but by a high-standard finish of its office spaces. Inner spaces and interior design have customised features (9-metre headroom, loft, look-out boardroom) that are unparalleled in Central Europe.

We offer to our NGO clients a germane knowledge and a deep expertise how it’s best to communicate, arrange fundraising campaigns, lobby successfully, and how to build brand and image. Apart from civil clients and churches, we have prepared publications, website, brochures, organised events, planned and bought media, organised campaigns and have created tools for contracting parties such as the Constitutional Court, the Presidential Office, energy supplier GDF, oil company MOL and many other market players and government agencies.
We are a young, dedicated and creative team focusing on delivery, with a special insistence on quality performance. In smooth cooperation with a well-performing supplier network, we continuously strive to find the best solutions to a wide range of needs.
Portus Buda Group’s mission is creating harmony in aesthetics and utilisation: that is what we do in bringing new life to unique and historical areas in Hungary and re-use them meeting today’s needs. Portus Buda Group Ltd. and the Hungarian Province of the Piarist Order funded Költő Kert Rezidencia Ltd. (Poet Garden Residence) in 2009 with the above goal. The development project has a 36,000 sq metre plot in Budapest’s 12th district where we intend to build exclusive buildings that create a fine blend of luxury and nature.

The company was jointly established in 2009 by the Hungarian Province of the Dominican Order and Portus Buda Group Ltd. to take part in the closed capital raise of CIG Pannónia Insurance Ltd. After a successful exit in 2011, with selling the shares, the company has been transformed to be the asset manager to the Dominican Order. The company’s goal is to gain profitable assets by conducting different investments. Dividends or exits from investments will contribute to financing the main operations of the owner. OPTalentum has recently screened a number of Hungarian SMEs with the aim of taking part in the given company as investor.

Portus Buda Group and its owners have in the past ten years cooperated with innovative SMEs as angel investors or helped them with venture capital investment. PBG FMC Venture Capital Fund Manager Ltd. has been specifically founded to enter into tenders called by the New Széchenyi Plan’s “JEREMIE III” programme. PBG FMC is 100% owned by Hungarian individuals and investors and employs Hungarian professionals.
The reason behind founding the company was to realise investments with significant growth potential using Hungarian intellectual property and creativity, thus finding market niches. However small the owners’ contribution is to the big picture, they could yet help realising an innovation-based country strategy and help the betterment of Hungary. Among other analysing methods, PBG FMC is set to apply a new investment search and evaluation method unparalleled in Hungary to generate business. The method of “underserved needs” was worked out at the Harvard Business School in the United States. It was successfully used in marketing researches and in realising venture capital investments.
